EPTIt's been a long time since my last piece. I'm back with a new track I made for the CS:GO MLG Columbus video: "Conquest", this time a short and energetic heroic rock theme, with some orchestral elements!
I've only ever made more orchestral based tracks, this is my first time making a rock based theme and I am quite happy with the result, especially since I started the track thinking I might not finish it in time for the video :D
I composed the main theme on my nylon guitar and expanded on the idea on Ableton with synths and my mouse, because I don't have the gear to produce the electric guitar sound I want.
I did use my guitar more later on to think of new ideas on the guitar solo section, connecting the different parts of the song.
My main inspiration and reference study piece for Conquest was a theme from Payday my friend showed me. I absolutely love how he makes it loop so well!
