EPTI fully approve of the casting crew that was selected.
Reasoning: Blizzard has taken to heart my expression in the need to maintain a level of meritocracy for caster selection. Zeweig and Tenshi have been casting Chinese SC2 since 2014. Since Legacy of The Void was released, I played less than 100 games on ladder, although I did complete the campaign. There are also more new players in the China scene that I never paid attention to, and they monitored over the past two years.
So, what prompted me to write this blog? There were a few posts in the announcement thread in regards to my absence at the event. I talked to the proper Blizzard NA offices and employees thereof in advance of WCS in Shanghai. They told me I was placed on a list of nominated talent for the Blizzard China to select. But in the end I just was not selected.
That's not to say I wasn't slightly salty when I saw the announcement, and I didn't make the cut, but the fact of the matter is, I have nothing bad to say about anyone selected. I see nothing wrong with them. I felt pretty wrecked to be honest, but although I have been unemployed for over 70 days, I am ready to make a big announcement in the near future, and I hope this is for the better. Hopefully it will come next week.
