It sounds to me like you're anxious about the future because you're lacking stability and a proper goal to work too. Regardless of the validity of my inference, I am too in such a spot. I'm currently job-hunting and although I manage to fill my time every day (even with productive and self-improving activities; I love my guitar, reading and learning other languages), it all feels very vapid. Strangely enough, the security and stability that I seek will appease my mind and these emotions, but I don't think I will feel much better about life in general. I used to have a goal of becoming a great scientist, but I no longer have that drive. I'm taking life one day at a time. For now I just try to enjoy life in what most would consider its most rudimentary form. Seems like I digressed a little bit there, out of place somewhere else but eerily appropriate here... | ||
