All of us and our catchy titles. Yup. We're coming for you.

Technology is great, right. And Internet. Have you seen this stuff ? Have you seen what can be done with it ?

No. Really... Have you ?

People, connecting and interacting with each other all around the world, instantaneously.
Sure, they have been sharing mainly lolcats and porn so far, but it occured to us that we might as well build a tool that would allow people to manage themselves as a collective.

It's simple, really. Nothing that can't be done in some amount of lines of code.
There would be much to say about how exactly we intend to do that, but that's not the point.
The point is, we're coming for you.

Yeah, because I don't know if you realised, but managing people as a collective is what politics, corporations and banks are doing, pretty badly I'd say.
Politic dictates the rules upon which the collective is built, corps what the collective does, banks how it's fueld. Kinda. It's a fat line I'm drawing, and it's a very much moving world these last years, but what I want to say is that with a proper tool, all these entities would simply become obsolete.

"Wow hold on, now that's a bit bold"

I know right ! But man, the world is a funny place. These corporations are, as of today, our most pressing clients. I'm talking international companies, and many of them. Even the government wants in.
Do they know they're financing the doom of their current form of existence ? I don't know !
Do I care ? Sure not !

What I care about, and, as I said in my previous blog entry, what is now my job, is to bring this technology as fast as possible to as much people as possible. Including you.

So yeah, if today you thought that the world is going to hell, well, I'm no prophet, I can't tell you that everything will be fine. But we're working on it. We're fucking coming for you.

Oh look Freddy Krueger got a computer and teamed up with Jason (as implied by We're).

I for one, support this.

" what is now my job, is to bring this technology as fast as possible to as much people as possible. Including you."

Hehe, and this is why hackers will be able to make or break this world apart

Security keeps being the one thing in computing, which is being pushed back. Advancements are most welcome, but it gets pushed forward so hard, that other significant parts of a project get pushed behind.
In no way I'm trying to tell you stop or to change the way you work. It's just how the world works.
I'm expecting you, I'm preparing for you, bring it on!

It is common for people to believe they hold the fate of the world in their hands.
Truth is people dominating others ("politics", "corporations") will always exist. Big people won't let power fall into the hands of machines.

you know you're at the top of the corporate food chain when you start using the word "fuck" as an adjective.

@Shapelog: Mh, not quite what I was going for. Maybe next time I'll try "Resistance is futile" :D

@WonnaPlay: Not sure if this is the aspect of security you're talking about, but we are keeping a close eye on decentralized networks, particularly blockchains and ethereum. Except from that I know very little about the subject...

@OtherWorld: Yeah, you're french, no wonder :D I am too, and france will be our first target. We do have the reputation to be the hardest country to bring innovation to, but even that is changing lately. I would have agreed with you 2 years ago, but by actually talking with these politics and corporations, I discovered that the situation is quite different.
The crisis in 2009 rang an alarm bell for them. The very system that brought them to their spot was shown to be fragile, so some of them started looking for alternatives. "Free entreprise" should ring a bell as a concept, it's quite used in french at least. And it's a concept they are after. They have seen giants like AirBnB and Uber rise from nothing in record times, all thanks to simple products and agile organisations (start-ups, basically).
So, for them, the choice is simple. They can keep their current structure and die as new ones, more efficient, come to replace them, or they can try to mimic what is working for these start-ups and try to survive.
See, at this point, it's a matter of life and death for any stereotypical pyramidal corp'. They have to flatten their hierarchy, create engagement instead of controlling demotivated workers, and overall optimise how they work as a collective trying to achieve something. Which is where we come in.

Wouldn't "fucking" be an adverb here, technically? Since it modifies a verb?

I dunno. I understand your reasoning, but I think the new order won't be any better (and different) than the old order for the common people. Wouldn't mind being proved wrong though, as long as humanism remains a central value and we do not open the door blind open to unruled informatics-cracy or whatever they call that.
If you're into transhumanism though, I'm interested because it's one of my main subject of study

Not sure if what we do could be considered transhumanism. In a sense, we are improving the "brain" function of humanity as a whole, meaning everyone will be able to fuel ideas, means or manpower into it, and tap into that common good for an amount fairly calculated according to each person's contribution.
But that's as far as I can go to try and tie transhumanism to our project.
We do place humanism as a central value (and a counterpoint to the current system), and we will make sure everything is tightly controlled. It's just that the collective will be the one making the rules, not any single organisation, not even us once we're past launching point.
