From time to time, i have noticed people being afraid of editing Liquipedia. The reasons for this are versatile, but a few of the more common ones are:

I'm afraid to mess something up
I don't know how to do stuff
I clicked on edit and all this code is confusing me

Of course, wikicode can be confusing at first sight, but it actually is not that hard to start off with some of the easier stuff. For all the people who want to see how the easier stuff is done, i created this easy guide to your first steps on Liquipedia.

I started editting the wiki to just include my videos. at first I was hella scared haha, but honestly if people are trying to format things to look pretty like what you see elsewhere on the site, just copy paste the format and fill everything in. its a great way to self learn c:

Wow, this is pretty amazing!

Getting more people into editing is always fantastic, and everybody should ~~be forced to~~ contribute to Liquipedia to keep it on top as the #1 esports resource.

if liquidpedia is the next logical step after tlpd, how come there is still tlpd? if it is easy to wiki, how come tlpd is protected?

I'm sure it's no coincidence that this is surfacing not long after FO-nTTaX spent a good 45 minutes or so with me earlier today teaching me how to do basic stuff. I am a Dummy

You're just copying w3schools' tutorials idea here!

Good start though I agree with FlaShFTW's post. Start that way and you'll soon learn how to edit LP without fear of breaking it

Testing stuff on your userpage is a great way to test stuff aswell! Since it is your personal page, you can test whatever you want there
