EPTAs this is my first blog post, I will give a short intro to who I am. I am 17 years old and live in Ireland. I am a masters Zerg player at the moment and have been playing Starcraft since late 2011. I have a lot of spare time over the next 2 or so months so I want to give this type of thing a try as I have always been interested in doing something like this.
I am planning to stream from 20:00 to 23:00 every evening (GMT) with some flexibility some days. During these sessions I will be giving commentary, music and analysis of my games.
The main goal of this blog is to outline my short term and long term goals as well as the other things that I have mentioned. I think if I do this it will help me improve as well as helping others improve.
With that being said, I will start!
My Practice: I have just returned from a three week holiday so I have not been regularly practicing. Before I went away I was mainly laddering with a few spurts of customs with practice partners. I was happy with my position of top 8 masters and hitting top 8 GMs on ladder twice, I haven't been that high on ladder before in terms of MMR so it was a cool feeling.
ZvT: My current go to build for ladder atm here is 1-1 roach timing into roach hydra viper. I feel it's a really solid ladder build because it rewards crisp macro every game and is consistent. My only drawback right now is multi pronged drop harass due to the low mobility of my army. I will be working this week on sorting that aspect of the build out when executing this style.
Ladder Win Rate: 28 - 12 (70%)
ZvP: Right now I am going for roach hydra viper timings and transitioning into an ultra composition. Protoss is a really reactionary match up however and most games I do not end up doing exactly this. Ling Hydra timings seem to be very popular in the pro scene right now so I might try to incorporate this into my play a little more. I have always been interested in the zergling infestor style as well so I may research into this a little as well!
Ladder Win Rate: 15 - 13 (54%)
ZvZ: Has always been my worst match up, right now I am going for 2 base ling bane pressure into roach off a pool hatch gas opening. Very solid ladder style and really safe against a lot of what you may come up against. I am mainly struggling in the mid game of roach vs roach, especially if I don't get anything from my pressure. I definitely feel however that I am improving in the match up.

Overall Ladder Win Rate: 58 - 40 (59%)
My Stream: I streamed once in the last six months about two weeks ago and I really enjoyed it. As I mentioned I will be streaming 3 or so hours most days and I really want to try and consistently stream. This section will mainly cover what I want to change about my stream each week.
