Hello ladies and gentleman of tl. I got bored and decided to have a super special awesome idea. I currently have an emulator which allows to me to play pokemon on my phone, I got firered, one of my all time favorites and thought, hey let's get tl involved with this. So, I will make a request. Help me create my team and each member's nickname for this playthrough.
To start things off, well what other way to start this off:
Poll: Hardest Question of All Time.Charmander (25) 35% Squirtle (25) 35% Bulbasaur (21) 30% 71 total votes Your vote: Hardest Question of All Time. (Vote): Charmander (Vote): Squirtle (Vote): Bulbasaur
I will edit this as the game progresses. Voting will end the moment my YOLO-Showmatch with Soularion ends. If you take the time to vote, plz comment with a nickname for my pokemon (and specify which starter you chose)

I say squirtle isn't the best pick cuz in gen 1 you have a ton of strong water options (dewgong starmie gyarados slowbro to name a few) where fire and grass types are harder to come by. I always went charmander unless you really wanted an arcanine or ninetails

In Gen 3 you use Squirtle until you can catch Zapdos and then proceed to use Squirtle as a surf slave.

Charmander was what I went for back on original red so got to keep it consistent.

Release the starter and make rattata your new main.

although Venasaur always felt weaker at the end than the others D:

Bulbasaur is the best of all grass starters
|
Bulbasaur isn't a bad option if u play Venasaur the right way, he's not the heavy hitter that charizard and blastoise are but his sunny day solarbeam combo is nice
|
Well the showmatch is over and firecake the charmander BARELY beat squirtle and bulbasaur so thats who i start with
Should i get a pikachu?

And fuck whichever game-freak nimrod thought it would be a good idea to make a rock-weakness 20x worse than any other weakness. Seriously? A type-based entry-hazard? Kinda puts SC2's imbalances (whatever you happen to believe they are) in perspective.
