The last two weeks and the next week will be super busy for me, as exams and final projects are starting. Honestly not much thought has gone into the team as of late.
The last post I made was whether I wanted to major in marketing or management and which could help towards a career in e-Sports. I'll be meeting within an academic adviser this Wednesday to get hopefully get a better understanding.
As for the team I have been thinking about it more and more and this is honestly one of the best teams to form a new team as HotS will be going to beta soon and LotV is soon to be coming to beta as well. This is a new opportunity for players to showcase their skill and for teams to capitalize on this chance.
Before I had discussed about starting with a Starcraft II division, as this was where my roots came from. But in the last 5 days, I got into the alpha for HotS and in the small amount of time, I'm now floating around 2800~ MMR. Being a programer has defintley been goal number one for me and if I were approached by a team to sign on as a HotS player, Impact eSports would have to be put on hold. I will continue to play HotS and officially sign off playing Starcraft II now and see where it takes me. On top of that I think starting with a HotS (whether I am a player or not) team will be more beneficial and low risk, but high reward due to the nature of it being a new e-Sports team.
Only time can tell what will happen. So for the next 2-3 months all my focus will be going into practice, practice and more practice for HotS. Thanks for reading and I will try and post more blogs about the team in the future.
