I thought the phrasing was perfect... For the record I too wish there were more games that the OP is after. I have to get off my pc to play with my wife.... We had a blast a few years ago with some boulder's gate on ps2 - now going to try out diablo 3 on ps3.

Worms if you wanna play at the same computer. I also highly recommend getting some horror game and having one person play while the other person screams like a girl (usually my role).

I definitely find it enjoyable with certain single player games to just take turns playing. So there's always that Found this thread with some good games on it: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2815358

Hot Seat AND Co-Op? As in, you have to be on the same team? If you don't mean that you have to be on the same team, it might open up more options, but either way, you could play some games from the Heroes of Might and Magic and Civilization series (Personal preference for Heroes 5:Tribes of the East and Civ 4). Expect them to take a long time though. :/

I still recommend Bonkheads, it's easy to learn but borderline impossible to beat, it's so much fun. =) Actually I think you can split screen on PC http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1847904
