It's worth noting specifically about gay panic, that is a recognizable legal defense in every us state except california. It's not murder if you killed someone because their gender/sexual attraction makes you uncomfortable. what in the what

Important part here, still, the fact that it was ever even tried is so fucked up.

In July 2009, Ferdinand Ambach, 32, a Hungarian tourist, was convicted of killing Ronald Brown, 69, by hitting him with a banjo and shoving the instrument's neck down Brown's throat this is just what

I think that "feels wrong" is putting it lightly, but I agree If someone killed me I'd like them to be a "murderer", not a "manslaughterer" Poorly worded I suppose. Of course it it's horrible. I don't think that's an uncommon sentiment.

US law never ceases to amaze me. This time in a very wrong way. Next time I get confused about NaDa's body I know where to run after 'slaughtering' him. p.s. I hope you get over your depression. Getting a job helps in that incredibly. Good luck~

It's not the interesting kind of depression that gives me something to write about either, I mostly just lay in bed and pity myself. I've been there and done that. I suck. I've just made a commitment to myself to get proper help, are you doing the same?

At least thats something I found extremely helpful. Good Luck!

I also eventually reached a point where I got the stuff I needed from my endo, but that took like 18 months. I am glad you got there a lot faster!

There's an even brighter side, the province pays for any trans-related surgeries I get, such as the 12-20 thousand dollar genital surgery I don't smoke weed though, it makes me really paranoid and its just generally not fun. I can't drink much either, my meds lower my alcohol tolerance a lot, so I can be completely hammered after like 3 or 4 shots Well, I suppose saving thousands of dollars is also a nice benefit ![]() And i know quite a few people who get that hammered after a few shots, and they're not even on meds.

I guess I just hang out with good drinkers then, I have to drink like half of what anyone else does lol Drinking isn't a competition, it's just for fun. Hell, I wouldn't mind having a lower alcohol tolerance, get drunk cheaper

It's hard for me to give advice because I come to the gender identity thing from a pretty different place, privilege of being a 'pretty white boy' I guess. Means I'm under a little less pressure to conform.

Typical lying liberal. When you try and form false arguments like that, it really discredits you and makes you into a liar pretty fast. If you want to promote trans awareness, then go right ahead but I suggest you do it with a sprinkling of honesty because bold, audacious lies are just plain unforgivable. Did you actually read any of the links in the post? It seems like there have been cases where murder is treated differently due to the victim's sexual orientation or gender identity. Do you have any information that suggests otherwise (if so, please share), or did you just want to call OP a liar for the hell of it? I mean, bumping a 3 year old post just to call OP a liar seems really petty, so I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt here.
