Hi guys my name is Keenan "ThoR" Davreux, an 19 year old, Canadian, second year business student and masters Protoss player.

Now a lot of you are already just asking the question, who the hell is this guy? Why should I care? etc.

Well let me tell you why! I have always wanted to start a career within e-Sports. Whether it be a player, manager, team owner or what have you. Gaming has been apart of my life as long as I can remember and I personally have been following e-Sports for about 6 years now. At the start of Starcraft II I formed a team called Team EVO which grew at a rate that I could never imagine. Me being only 15 at the time, had now clue what to do or how to grow this team and because of this, the team disbanded. Eventually this stemmed into me being more interested in the business of e-Sports and now I'm looking to major in management at the University of Saskatchewan and learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship.

Now as I've been going through University I've been creating these idea's in my head on how to approach a career in e-Sports. As its such a growing market with loads of opportunity, many idea's come to mind. The one that seems to stick the most is "start a team" (voices in my head). As this school term comes to a close, the reality of this idea coming to life seems closer to me than ever before.

The whole point of this blog is mostly to introduce me and to bring forth a new idea that hasn't really been done before that I think many people might be interested in!

I've watched many smaller teams fall apart so quickly due to management putting all of their eggs into one basket. Of course I plan on taking things slow......and I mean very slow. One step at a time. I'm not in this to get rich quick or to get my 10min of fame as a team owner. No I'm in this for the long haul.

So here's my proposal to you the readers and everyone who loves the business side of e-Sports. I will write a weekly blog of every business decision, why I made that decision, every thought about the team and any problems I run into for my e-Sports team. Whether it be to sign a new player, host a tournament, player controversy etc. I want to document the growth of this team. I think that this could prove to be very insightful to anyone who may decide to do something similar to what I am doing, or to the people who just love learning about the business side of e-Sports.

Thanks for reading this big wall of text guys! You will definitely be hearing from me in the future.

Making a clan is really simple. The hard part is to make people stay in it. Take root gaming as an example and try to emulate it.

No its not just going to be as simple as making a clan. This will be treated completely as a business. ROOT is definitely one the best teams to use as an example.

Haha I wish I could do a Brood War team. I've been thinking heavily on this in terms of where I want to take this team. It will mostly likely be discussed in the next blog entry.

Wow, this is pretty damn cool. I tried doing something small scale with the Video Game club at my highschool and well, that didn't go well. I hope this goes well, and I will try to keep up with this to see how it goes. Good luck man.
