The first thing I will discuss is the recent LAN I hosted in Chino Hills. [More info can be found here: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/sc2-tournaments/449792-socal-lan-circuit] This event was a total blast. It was almost perfect considering we got a action packed tournament filled with the best players in the area. Not only that but I learned from my mistakes and what I can do better for the future events. All in all it was great, but the only bad thing was I didn't do as hot as I felt I should of.
Then there was a good few weeks of non-stop practice for the upcoming MLG. And honestly it was the greatest thing ever. I got to meet so many people within the starcraft community and had a pretty deep run. Not only that but I also got to sign a couple of things for my first time. And to top it all of I also got interviewed by flaming cow and livin pink.
As for the tournament the bracket can be found here : [http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2014_MLG_Anaheim/Open_Winners%27_Bracket.] And for a short recap of my run. I got a bye first round, then had to play IamMagic winning 2-0 then having to face Iaguz beating him 2-1 and getting knocked down to the losers bracket by Stardust in Winners Round 4. From there I got placed into losers round 6 which then I had to play verses Vibe beating him 2-0 then losing to Apocalypse (my teammate) and finishing of in the losers round 7.
I felt I did pretty good throughout the tournament and I am only motivated to do more and more. This was a really good showing of my recent practice. Next stop WCS Challanger . After my tournament run I managed to get interviewed by Livin Pink [I will put the interview link here when it is uploaded.]
And now to the future. I am now relaxed and settled at home and just ready to continue to improve. Which I will do all on stream for the enjoyment of my viewers. This will also consist a free coaching session per week and interactive viewer games and a weekly guide of a build that I am working on. All this can be found over at my twitch at [www.twitch.tv/ariumtv]
I want to give a huge shout-out to my team IvD! This tournament was definitely memorable! Thanks to my sponsors Nätverk Teknik MSi and Cooler Master!
Thank you all for reading this!
