Hey anyone reading this, this is my first attempt at writing a blog that will (hopefully) continue for longer than a month. I have written others previously but they usually end after a while and I forget the user names and passwords. I have been lurking around the edges of TL for a bit and finally decided to make a little input with a blog. The people on here seem super cool and I always find really interesting things to read about when I should be working :3 I decided to actually make an account and see how I go at human interaction.
I'll admit that I spend a lot of my working day reading blogs, fanfic and Reddit. I am not very interested in my current job and have spent the majority of two days trying to type up something decent and interesting to post here, I think I have wasted two days....
Ok so a little about me is I guess where this blog should go. I work in finance, specializing in shares, insurance and retirement planning. It is quite fun and I enjoy the work but not so much the people I work with. My life outside of work is Dota, it is my only real hobby apart from eating and sleeping (this sounds so depressing when actually written down). I live in a country town, it's quite small and there isn't much to do but I'm not so social so it doesn't affect me much.
Apart from Dota I also love Starcraft but I haven't played it for about two years now. It's hard for me to play two games at once with the small amount of spare time I have. I also used to play a lot of Minecraft and Skyrim both of which I miss so much! I have a PC which my boyfriend and I built together from scratch (because I'm retarded and can't be trusted with simple tasks).
Other interesting facts you might find interesting and would like advice on:
-I lived in Thailand for eight months, sawadee ka for the Thai people on here! I can tell you all the sick places in Bangkok to go.
-I know a lot about the Australian finance system, ask away!
-I am bad at Dota but can tell you I will talk to you all day about that shit if people listen.
-I still collect Pokemon cards. I have been collecting since I was 10ish.
-I can tell you about Australia and how cool it is.
-I'm an expert when it comes to Family Guy, I can quote that shit like a pro.
-I have a farm and can show you cool pictures of the Aussie outback.
-I also love dinosaurs. I want to collect figurines someday (I collect anime and gaming figures at the moment).
-Last but not least I love to read about space and the planets and stuff. People think it's weird that I can recite the planets in order from memory, that's not weird it's cool!
Anyways yeah I nice to meet you all and hope to make some awesome friends who like the same awesome stuff as me. Trust me, I get more interesting in the later stages of knowing me :D

Thank you!! I don't have many due to me usually being poor! But I have Mikasa and Byakuya and all the starcraft people and two from warcraft three oh I also have a charmander. They are definitely not smaller than your fingernail! But nah it's fine as long as ya have your bug spray and a shovel

Im really interested in all that space stuff as well, and I think only stupid people would think it's weird to know the names of the planets in our solar system.
Not that it's any of my business but for me time at work always goes faster if I spend it productive (like going a bit up and beyond your job description for example). Partially because I want to work my way up and partially because I thibk it's a bit bad mannered to waste away the time they pay you for. Anyway welcome to TL!

You are totally right, I am a terrible employee. I hate wasting time, it is the only thing you can't get back if you waste it. I need to find a better focus and attitude towards my job since jobs are harder to come by these days (well good ones anyway). Thanks for the advice! And yeah space is awesome, I went to a quiz night and was like the space expert I got 10/10 in that section for the team. We still lost the quiz night though....

Wow your like female Bear Grylls for sure  20 years and undefeated.
But yeah be cool to hear more especially if you want to blog. There is lots of us Blog stalkers on TL especially when girl blogs come out as you may have noticed! (Girl Blogs aka Men blogging about their love lives)

This is almost like a mirror image for me. I work in finance too, I spend lot of time reading stuff that interest me in my work instead of working (and is not like I have that much work to do, I just don't like to look for work... I just do what I have to do and what my boss tell me...), and I think is not really a good thing, but whatever.
I love Dota too... I have a blog in which i try to write analysis and stuff in spanish and it's going decently.
What are your favourite things about Dota? Heroes, roles, teams, players? I like Windranger, Clockwerk, Rubick, Nyxnyxnyx, and soo more.

Funny how people associate living within the same square mile as a rattlesnake means you will see it every day and it will try to strike but you will fire a shotgun at it and it will say "ooooh you wascawwy wabbit" and go back down it's hole with a black face and no injuries. Upon which you dynamite it's hole and it hops around for a minute, breaks down your door, and kills you

Hehe yeah I never see snakes and I mainly live in town although it is a country town so you get the odd python hiding in the tall grass. Your techniques of dealing with snakes are a little more radical than my own. I usually just take to it with a shovel and if it gets away well hopefully it will stay on its side of the farm.

What is the finance system like over there? I am always interested to learn how other countries financial planning needs differ from my own. Yeah I am the same, not very proactive about finding stuff do, just do what I have to. Favorite things about Dota? Everything! haha no but seriously I love to mid. I love heroes that I have to farm and especially junglers. I love Spectre, Naga, Doom etc. I am pretty bad though so I usually just go support so I don't muck the game up I just need more practice :D I love Clockwork and Nyx they are both so fun to play!
