What's going on here? And for the record I did ask them, but was just told "dunno, maybe bonus pool", so I'm still quite confused.
Are ladder points bugged?

When you get promoted you don't start off with 0 points, some of the points you had in your previous division carry over. I'd say check sc2ranks and see if you can find stats on when or if they got promoted, if you feel it's important to you. | ||

In the beginning of each season often some of the division top ranks go to people who are promoted in one of their first matches after their placement match. Also diamond bonus pool is smaller than master bonus pool. When they got promoted the rest of master pool became available for them.
