Alright TL I need your help.
I heard from a reliable source that the friendly folks on TL know how to get grills. You see, I've been eating vegetarian all through high school and college, and I've never really been interested in grills like the rest of my friends have.
But there's this one grill, let's call it Filetcity, that just seems like the perfect grill. Perfect spacing for meatsearing, heats up incredibly quickly, you know the type. I've always been looking at Filetcity throughout college but I've always ended up focusing back on my studies or previous diet due to pressure from parents/friends/hippie roommate.
So I come to you for help. I have no idea how to approach this grill. What do I say to the Home Depot guy? Should I rehearse some lines beforehand? What happens if Filetcity isn't there and I'm all alone in the store at 11 PM where the employee is slowly switching his gaze between the clock and me and indignantly accosting me without saying a word about how I'm holding up his shift even though he's paid by the hour and I'm in there for a grill that hasn't been sold by that store in nearly four years and I should really check Craigslist because those grills are probably way cheaper than store price even if they're only slightly used because of the charcoal remnants that turn off grill users who don't understand that when you cook a piece of meat you will have charcoal left over no matter what and that's how a grill works but nevertheless demand goes down and thus the grills get relegated to garages of middle-aged white men who have passed their midlife crisis and no longer need to cook a steak every day to remind themselves of masculinity for reasons I cannot explain this post since I have not experienced them yet, just as I have not experienced ways to get grills like Filetcity?

This blog got pretty dark towards the middle of the seventh clause of the last paragraph-sentence. Probably because of the charcoal.

Get one that can switch between gas and coal. Gas for the summer when you don't want to clean it, coal for when you have kids to clean it for you haha. It's ok to salivate over grills, just don't try to insert anything into the holes.

Now, I know a guy who is quite knowledgeable in propane and propane accessories, and he says that charcoal is bad because you gotta taste the meat, not the heat.

I can emphathise with the OP to some degree. I've had my GF for 2 years now (practically lives with me) - small white, petite thing, cooks for me, always been good to me.
I go away on holiday for a week, come back and something just doesn't seem right. I asked my dad if he had seen anything happen with my GF and he acts clueless.
So fast forward to 3 weeks later... I'm coming home from work when BAM clear as day, right in my kitchen I catch my father red handed with his meat in my GF.
I was PISSED, told him to get his meat out of GF and GTFO, needless to say my GF got turned off. I just couldn't get over it and that night kicked my GF to the curb.
Now it's been 2 weeks since the incident and that I've been without my GF and about 10 minutes ago my dad had the audacity to ask my how my GF has been, when he's the damn reason we aren't together anymore.
Should I get off the computer and start swinging at him?
OR
Pack my stuff and be on my way.
