Don't know what else to say. It's kind of an illogical, unavoidable reaction, I think. Or at least, that's been my experience. As cliche as it sounds, try to be happy for her. If she found someone new, that means you can too. And if your relationship wasn't working anyway, you're both better off. Call up some friends. Grab some beers. Watch some Starcraft. Life goes on. The fact that she had random sex at a party so soon after the breakup obviously means that she has been severely affected by it. It could be that the breakup left her with a huge emotional void and she resorted to sleeping around to feel wanted by other guys. It could be that she wanted to have "bounceback" sex to prove that she could do without you or something. Either way, it stands that she hasn't gotten over you, if not she would have just proceeded along with her life normally instead of exhibiting such behaviour beyond her normal patterns. You could try taking that as a compliment rather than bashing yourself up over it. | ||

On the subject of her rebounding, yeah it's a sign of her missing you and feeling like she can't keep the relationships she creates, so she tries to emulate the intimacy she just lost. You can be pretty sure that this is a sign of her not being over you. | ||
