Some more art videos for your enjoyment. I been using pastel more lately. Soft pastel is easy to use, easy to manipulate. But the way I do it, I use only a very blended thin layer, a down side is if the wrong color is applied it can be more difficult to cover/fix it (unlike oil paints) . Mandela drawing is just good ole white charcoal.

I love sketching with charcoal than pencil especially when I go to different areas to survey. It seems that my sketches always come out more ascetically pleasing.

I'm glad that you found the time to draw Elle Fanning. Too often, the fandoms of the entry-level peacemakers like Mandela and Gandhi completely disregard the contributions of people like Fanning and Chloe Moretz.

i hope you take this as a compliment, but it's unbelievable that you're doing this by freehand? Obviously there is reference involved but I almost want to say that you're using some contraption to get the proportions exact and aligned correctly. But watching the video I see nothing but pencil and paper.
