Our entire world is run by them and the banks I guess. Or it feels that way. On November 17 2013 03:53 iamho wrote: That health exchange website is completely fucked. Every time I'm halfway through my application I get a "system down" message and have to restart everything. I think I'm just going to pay the $95 fine for not having insurance next year. Yea, it is horrendous. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt the first week because of huge amount of server load... but I think that grace period has passed. I have to have coverage though because I am currently enrolled in the PCIP program, which stops working Dec 31st... and I need insurance to help pay medical/prescription fees

So this whole month and a half that I have been waiting has been for nothing. They dont know when they will get around to checking my ID or if they even have it. On top of that, I did my application before they put in some system that gave you a long ID to give to experian if you call. This ID is only given once. I dont have this ID. So I have to do a new application. And they cant guarantee that the new one will finish before Dec 15th cutoff date, which means I would have a full month of no insurance and a risk of a $10k hospital bill if something goes wrong with my diabetes. Sue the government for it's shitty system, I hear so many stupid stories of suing that this sounds like an easy win. And damages could be your mental health and wasted time for the past month too, as well as any future stuff .

I might at least consult a lawyer. If my meds dont last I might consider too, since I dont really want to pay ~$650-700 out of pocket.
