This is my first blog and I wanted to show you guys some android apps I've been working on.

I work as a System Analyst for a bank, with mainframe technology (cobol, CICS, DB2, etc), so I wanted to diversify and work with some new languages... Since I know how to code in Java as well, I decided to work with android!

Although it looks kinda easy to make a android app, this new languages and working environments have a lot of small stuff you gotta pay attention, so I felt lost a lot of times...

I decided to start with an app that I searched in Google Play and could not find. I was watching the last Oscar (Academy Awards) and wanted to see who won the past years, so I looked in Google Play and nothing came up, so I decided to do this app.

After a lot of typing (input all the winners is a lot of work I didn't expect), I made my first app:

I'm happy with how it is, and with this app I learned a lot, so I decided to do other apps, and thought they should be esports/game related...

So I made some apps to aggregate the content of some famous personalities that I like to browse every day. I called these apps 'Condensed'.
They can browse twitter, youtube and reddit. For some of them you can choose exactly what to follow.
The JP one I added a widget to check Twitch.tv status (should be up soon on google play)

Now I hope that some people can see these apps and tell me what they think, what should I change, what would be better, etc... so I can keep working on they and keep working with android!
