NS2 pub games are actually from 8v8 to 12v12. Competitive games are played in smaller numbers but you generally don't find pubs smaller than 8v8.

NS2 is a fantastic game. It's significantly easier on your computer than it was in beta/at release. If you like FPS, it is very good. There is a lot of detail and a high skill ceiling though so you need to put in some effort before you can expect to be do decently. I recommend sticking with rookie servers until then...and you'll still probably die a lot.

Edit: Also, the game has a good player base. There are no issues at all finding games.

This game is awesome. Server I play on is also one of the most pleasant places I've ever found on the internet.

I did watch a few minutes of it, not gonna watch 3 hours of video only to find out if it is PVP or not. From the clips I watched it looked like a PvE game

Damn I still need to get around to playing this game. I really loved the first Natural Selection back when I was in middle/high school. Game was awesome but I felt like not that many people ever really played it. After waiting forever for NS2 I kind of forgot about it and just haven't gotten around to playing it yet. Thanks for reminding me!
