My brother and his wife are trying to expand their small business and the title was the comment he made when describing how hard it was to find good help in CA.
To explain his comment, I should mention his wife is HUGE on feng shui nut, to the point of making an already difficulty CA house search last 8 years, renaming their child, and now progressed into giving up having another child because their window of birthing into a zodiac compatible with her had passed.
Anyways, rabbits. Not actual rabbits, just folks born in certain time frames.
Apparently they are good workers and compatible with my brothers wife, so I can only imagine how those interviews go.
"Hi, are you a rabbit?"
"No"
"Thanks for applying"
"What?"
"Yes"
/facepalm

Where is she from? China?

I'm surprised he was willing to put up with that to marry her. Few people have the ability to tolerate excessively radical and excessively stupid beliefs, especially when it causes objective harm to you.

Yes, very Chinese wife.
And changing your belief system probably happens a lot in marriage in the form of religion/faith and what that means for their kids. So I'm not too surprised at stuff my bro says now, but this last one just stood out to me heh. I can see having your house point a certain direction to optimize natural light and reduce mold or whatnot. My son is a dragon so auntie already doesn't like him!

The horrible things that would happen if somebody would dare to lie during their interview.

Let me just get my can of worms opener...
+ Show Spoiler +Just as stupid as burning/talking bushes and or snakes/ living in a whale / arks filled with all species of the planet etc etc etc. Only seems weirder because we're not as used to it.

Do they advertise the position? Do the advertisements state that applicants have to be rabbits?
Because if not, that would be a massive dick move, since roughly 11/12th of all applicants would have been automatically ineligible and making them go in for an interview would be a massive waste of time. If so, I can't imagine someone reading "must be born in the year of the rabbit" and thinking to themselves: 'hmm this sounds like a good place to work, this employer doesn't sound bat shit insane at all'

Not sure, it's not a real "business" persay, like 401k + benefits,, etc and her english isn't all that good, plus she refuses to get a drivers license, so I'm assuming they want to hire some older folks with lots of spare time, and attention to detail. Just rabbit details.
