EPTAnyways, MEGA BED - the term I created to describe our two queen beds assembled into one giant bed:

The story behind is pretty standard: we each brought a queen bed when we moved in together many years ago, and had them in separate bedrooms in rental, but now with the house, kids, and accumulated family furniture, have already furnished the spare bedrooms/bonus that the spare queen wasn't needed for a guest bed, and MEGA BED was born!
Advantages:
Lots of space. 4 comforters, 8 pillows, and fun play area for the kid who basically uses it like a trampoline jumping from one clump to another.
Different heights of the bed (one is IKEA!) make certain sex positions more manageable.
I toss and snore often, and have gas a lot (asian lactose fail!).
She also ninjas the blanket a lot.
Dis-advantages:
We don't spoon/cuddle as much as we used to.
The dog sleeps with us now.
Wifi is pretty weak at the #1 bed
