Frankly, most of your other works -while obviously high quality- don't really make me do double takes, they are too... particular and functional to captivate my mind. But somehow the subtle and natural charm of these simple speedpaints I find mesmerizing. They always inspire me to try some visual arts myself, which I always give on up soon after realizing I suck at it. (The harsh contrast between my imagination and actual results is particularly disheartening) That is, until your next blog comes around

Speedpaints have their interest in that they are gestual, can have lots of movement, and make the spectator fill in the details, as opposed to the other paintings were everything is laid out to you.
