EPTI normally pick these by browsing randomly through SC2 channels that aren’t featured on TL, or from hearing about what other people like to watch.
Then, if they are a reasonable quality stream to look at/listen to, and they have some decent level play and don’t already have a large number of viewers - I will try and promote them on my page throughout by posting a link to their stream/social media whenever they go live during the month.
During August due to being rushed I had to pick quickly, but it was Fray.Iaguz, Fray.Petraeus and also Clarity.Bones. These guys have great streams and they commentate during their games, not to mention they are all at a great level of game skill so most people watching will learn a thing or two.
Now I know my FB/Twitter doesn’t have too many followers that would be able to see this promotion of the players - but I’m sure every little bit counts. I know from talking to many players that it’s hard for to “get known”, join a team, and compete in tourneys without some help. Please be sure to check out the streams, follow them on Twitch, follow on Twitter, “favourite” on the Teamliquid stream list, and be sure to interact with them on their stream!
