Brainbench employment tests, anyone taken these?

unkkz Norway2196 Posts September 02 2013 10:55 GMT #1 I just got a few of these tests after an interview for Win 7 and Win server 2008 among other things and i'm just wondering if anyone has had to take these tests before and could maybe enlighten me as to what i am going to expect? There is close to no information on their site about the tests themselves so i simply wonder how much time i have, if its per question or entire thing etc. Also how deep they go would be good to know i guess. If anyone has taken one of these i´d appreciate some information, thx.

Nothing really came from it but they used certifications to show you are competent at certain things. I ended up taking one for typing. I don't see anything special about it, at least with the typing test. Was like any typing test you can find for free online lol. They ended up having a promotion or something so I got that typing one for free, but you usually have to pay a decent amount of money for it....whole thing seems shady to me. A couple times though, they had a survey or something that you could fill out. Notified via email and the first people to take it would get a gift card. Ended up getting a couple $20 amazon gift cards so it wasn't a total waste. Granted, I have no idea how the things work for more specialized stuff like some computer program certs they have since I only did the typing test. I never found out much information about the company or how legit they are. Ok, just logged into my account to check. If you even want any type of certificate (electronic or paper) then you have to pay a small fee for it. If they actually used them for an interview though, they must be legit I guess.
