Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/leechblock/ Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stayfocusd/laankejkbhbdhmipfmgcngdelahlfoji Internet Explorer: Go download a real browser I use LeechBlock on Firefox for TL... I limit myself to 1 hour of TL a day, and I can't visit TL past midnight. But sometimes (like right now) after the 1 hour is up, I go on Chrome to visit TL. I would highly recommend using those add-ons. It really did prevent me from wasting lots of time.

If these buddies are real people who you see in real life, this is okay. If these are Internet buddies, this is not okay and you need to get out of the house and reconnect with the real world. You can't live life in a social construct of your own imaging, it's unhealthy and you will accomplish nothing.

Unfortunately that idea wouldn't work as I would almost certainly use another browser and/or would just remove the addon. Thanks for the help though On August 01 2013 13:44 micronesia wrote: Why don't you make a specific plan and then stick to it instead of just having overall objectives? My personality works such that I am constantly thinking 'oh I have to do this' and that I will get round to it, but when the time comes and I haven't done said thing, I will just bare the consequences of what happened, I can be very stubborn which doesn't help. It's a combination of old friends, friends from school and friends of those friends so it's not a social construct of my own. Wow guys, never realised that TL would be a place that would try to and help me! I just wanted to rant at myself but you're all lovely people. Update: 7:30 AM Edit: Micronesia, I think if anything would work, your suggestion is probably the best thing for me, at the moment I do in fact have no plan whatsoever for myself except that I know I would like to do things. Edit2: the part about TL being so nice is better summed up by me not expecting TL to be so encouraging

I would love an app that does something similar! Although I've learned to control myself, so it's of little applicable use now, other than helping meld good habits.

I think I'm just gonna stay up all night, it's easier than going to bed now. I started playing waaaay more Dota after going to uni.
