So I recently went back home to the good old - North East helping my parents patch up the house they are planning to sell soon after they retire to move closer to their grandkid(s) and took my son to Boston to see some stuff and of course, make his first college visit.
As I'm sure I"m not alone being one of the many, many, many rejects of MIT (we had this discussion orientation day of CMU - how we all got rejected) and had never actually seen the campus. So of course, I plan on forcing my kids to take the path I couldn't and tell them as half-asians they only have two choices of edumacation: Harvard or MIT. Anything less and I will lose face and unfriend my extended family out of shame.
Anyways, I was way more impressed with MIT's campus than Harvard's, I guess the age and architecture was more appealing to the engineer in me. Everyone thinks he looks like a girl so I'm not too hopeful and he couldn't figure out how to go down the stairs he climbed up, so I'm pretty sure it's community college for this one. Hope the next one is smarter!

Fucking -_-. Also I chose, I hate babies, but really that kid looks kinda like a guy in the photo, I'm guessing it's a boy who looks like a girl, like I did when I was a baby.

CMU is better than MIT for a few programs ! (not many)

*Vomits on Harvard.*
I recommend you abandon your child in a crack house, as the best chance he has for getting into Harvard is to have a really good sob story.

One girl I know who's a junior at the college I'm going to attend in town basically said that the reason she was accepted to Stanford was that her parents dropped her off and left her at the mercy of the goodness of other people's hearts, so she has a second pair of parents; that sob story basically guaranteed her a spot at Stanford, that was her statement.

Don't worry about it, unless you intend to get into politics they offer no major justifiable advantage for your undergrad.

lol in case you were semi-serious (let's face it, there's probably a little bit of honesty down there), you need to get over your past insecurities and not pass that onto the next generation

So many baby haters!
Since many schools have unspoken limits on how many asians they admit, I was thinking his skin color could almost pass for a native american. Clearly the best way to get into Harvard or MIT.
I can and will pass my insecurities to the next generation and blame any mistakes on mathematics on his weak white DNA.
