Okay, now our latest problem. We are about to print an alpha version of the cards to see how they look, but we don't have a title or company name. Coagulation and I are pretty much polar opposites on a lot of stuff. It's actually quite useful working together like this. However, when it comes to naming our stuff, we just can't agree. And I think we're both pretty stubborn.
The original name was Liquid Magic, but that got struck down by a lawyer. Then it was going to just be Mana, but that was generic.

Blood drunk...why does that name seem familiar, is that a song by children of bodom? Edit: oh yeah it's a whole album by CoB(I think it was one of their worse ones).

I don't like any of the game names. "Liquid Heroes" sounds really generic, like you just attached a word to "heroes". It should be something like "Gods of The Mana World"
So is this a general drinking game, or more of a drinking game for video game dorks like ourselves?? I was breezing through some of the old blogs quickly but I kinda was wondering for your own summary

knights of the game table is def cool for a company name though
If you can't use 'Liquid Magic', why not 'Liquid Courage'? Pretty common colloquialism in keeping with your drunkenness theme
For Company Name, Frozen Pawn sounds more serious than Knights of the Game Table. Unless you're going for a more whimsical vibe (a la Munchkin), Frozen Pawn should be the choice.
Frozen pawn is the only really good imo. Combined with a simple, clever logo it would work greatly. As for the game, I'm not convinced either of the variants is really good but I don't have any suggestions either.

ugh, picking names like this is pretty hard... and you only know if it's a good name or not after you've been using it for awhile I feel. I am not completely convinced by the names you suggested, but I dont have any good suggestions either. Good luck on finding one though.
Frozen Pawn logo, a chess pawn in a arbiters stasisfield amagad. On another note, coming up with company names and logo is a bitch. Went through that earlier this year for myself.

Yea, neither am I. All of them were "Like it don't love it" but we are trying to follow a schedule... a schedule impeding by my terrible lack of creativity haha

It's definitely for dorks like us. It wouldn't be something you just suddenly break out at a house party.
Hey real biased perspective incoming! I am an imaginative person, or at l east think I am. I am absolutely more likely to find this game fun if it's called blood drunk
it makes a lot of sense to me. A person who is blood drunk is crazed by a form of power that is at the expense of another. Blood Drunk Also sounds kind of mythy and reminds me of hallowe'en drinks that are drank out of cups with red lights at the bottom.
Blood and drunk are both potentially fun words.. like "what up, blood! lets get drunk"
edit- but then again, think of me if i am buying it and want to convince people to play with me.. then something cleaner and more open to other less dorky interpretations are better, like "liquidity" because then business nerds can be like "oh yeah drinks AND cash and i can be smooth!"

....both company names are really good. (Frozen pawn might be slightly better with the drinking tie in imo.) So use Frozen Knights (and of course by knights you mean the chess piece that looks like the TL logo and will be shown frozen).
Game name... Liquid Heroes is okay, but what about Heroes of Liquid? HoL(e) makes a pretty cool sounding drinking card game.

The rest of the liquid names don't do anything to really describe much. Kinda liquid for the sake of this was born of some TL people, and everyone just votes that. meh.
I get what you are saying about the like but not love things though, because that's how I feel about the two options I said I liked. I'll think about this some more and really read the old blog posts to get more of a feel

Liquid courage is what I always refer to as alcohol so it could be pretty fitting. I'll post again if I think of a good name for the game but I like Frozen pawn as the company. On second thought Liquid Bisu has a nice ring to it.

Liquid Heroes sounds really cool, with a nice allusion. Frozen Pawn also sounds cool. I don't really bring a constructive review, I simply approve these two most popular names (so far).
