I have recently set some goals for myself. I want to make $25, 000 in one year excluding my two jobs. The more and more I thought about this, the more interested I was to see if it were possible. The money I make from my two jobs will not go towards this balance and I will do my best to keep this blog updated with my progress.
I am looking at things like Online Surveys, Advertising for companies by allowing them to wrap my entire car on a contractual monthly basis, aiding with installing WordPress for individuals/small businesses and creating a t-shirt/misc item store on Cafepress. If you have anything else, or any other ideas I am not thinking about please feel free to post them here.
I have considered turking but I don't think I qualify for much right now. I will also be going through my old hockey card collection and a few misc. items that I find around the house.
Goal: $25, 000
Tutoring: $325.00 Sell Misc Items: $165.00
Total: $490.00 Goal - Total: $24, 510.00

How did you arrive at 25k? That is a lot of money. The only way I see this working is if you already have a fair amount of standing funds that you can utilize (risky) or if you sign up for something which gives you a large bonus. This is especially likely since you are probably pretty busy already if you have 2 jobs.

I arrived at that number because I want a truck, honestly. I thought it would be a challenge and interesting to see if it could be done. You see so many advertisements suggesting you can make $X every week. I thought it a challenge to see what you could really do.

If you have enough time to make 25k in a year from online surveys, then you might as well get another job, cause those things pay less than 1$ an hour.

Online surveys will not make you enough money. They pay barely over the electricity cost while doing them.
You can try camping classified ads and flip furniture. A lot of people give their furniture away when they move, so go pick it up, and then resell for a few hundred dollars profit. This is what my mom does on her spare time.

Phase 1 medical experiments - I would not recommend it though.

I do T-Shirts, if you get some store to sell yours you can make some money and doing nothing, but you need to invest in the things to start printing. Or you can make some chocolate or cookies and get someone to sell em.
Or, with patient and good knowlodge of prices, you can try to buy at sales, ebay or etc and re-saleing things.

When I saw the title on a side bar, I subconsciously added '...Pylons'.
I'd say if you want to ever see anything near 25.000, definitely drop Online Surveys. Perhaps learning online poker would do? But no matter what way you pick, I'd say it will take a lot of wisdom and skill to earn that much. And time - that's the resource you don't have much.
Good luck nonetheless!

If you live near a university, it's worth checking the psychology and neuroscience departments and getting in their databases.

I don't know what your academic credentials are OP but that might help us with further suggestions. For example, I'm most likely about to receive a $15,000 bonus for signing up for something.

If you're musically inclined you could start street performing, or if you wanted to be more legit, start taking gigs around where you live. A lot of restaurants/hotels etc. will pay local performers for 30 minutes to an hour of entertainment.

Donate blood plasma and sperm

Drug dealing is pretty solid...but it can get dangerous and you might have some doubts about what you are doing...it does pay the bills though.

I work full time as a Paramedic and gross ~$65, 000, I work casual as a Paramedic Instructor and make $23.00/hr. Just looking for something on the side as a challenge. Little time, big benefit.

It's not all about earning money, but saving and stealing money. What is your lunch budget? Now save all that by skipping lunch and checking the community fridge for leftovers at 1pm. Steal/print/borrow forever a SAMs club or Costco card and eat samples for dinner!! Steal a 802.11 hub from best buy/work, ask your closest neighbor to borrow a cup of flour and install the device for free wifi. Got a car? Tailgate someone pulling out of the station and fill up on his card. May require ninja speed and/or the Force.

Try looking for research companies? Like going to a facility and trying out food/drinks/etc. and giving your opinion about the product and get paid for it. Some of them are like couple hours long and some could take a span of a couple days.

I did something similar when I was a student. Had to pass some cognitive tests, pull an all nigther, then sleep in an MRI scanner for a couple of hours with electrodes all over my head. Got paid 250 euros. Definitely worth it.
