For anyone who ever played chess more seriously than just for fun, it's obvious that fitness and stamina are extremely important to maintain concentration. The better heart and vascular system are trained, the better they handle stress of difficult positions and time pressure. Also, tournament runs often take several days during which players' energy is gradually drained out; those who excercise usually have more of it at the end of the competition, when everything is decided. http://chessimprover.com/physical-fitness-promotes-mental-fitness/

Its not the only one though! I'd personally like a nicely balanced 2v2 / 3v3 fps.

Yea, maybe I'll just stick with Sc2, it's shitty though I don't really feel any connection to the game because of the lack of in game content besides ladder and it just feeling lonely in general. Plus I don't have faith in Blizzard to keep this game alive for 5+ years,

Also EG players like Incontrol, Machine and former Idra, tyler/nony seems to be always working out. Huk and some koreans plays occational football. As to quote Budda: "To keep the body in good health is a duty... otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear." I think it seems to be the general formula but I am not really buying it. A dude can play Sc2 and own without being fit.

Maybe you're not really looking for a 1v1 game? Serious players in the fighting game community tend to have a lot more going on offline if you're looking for more of a communal experience.
