Unfortunately, the author does not underline the fact that there were two Starcraft games so far and just calls them both "Starcraft". People of no knowledge about the history of the game may start thinking it was SC2 that had Berkeley classes and that the current state of the game is solely a result of the initial SC2 success, not the partial inheritance of the fanbase. Although this is a very general article about learning process more than game details, so you could expect things like that.
