If you use them he'd like credit: "C T Hinton".
[edit]Goswser is playing in the second to last picture. I've written about my experiences of the night in the 6th post. The original thread about the opening can be found here. [/edit]

There were larger screens over the bar and a projector which you can see in the background of some of the other pics. The thread about the opening seems to be dead, perhaps because it wasn't the greatest opening in the world. It started 2 hours late and everyone was waiting outside. Confused members of the public wondered what the hell was going on; a trendy looking couple stood on the other side of the street for 5 minutes wondering why there was a hundred strong nerd herd in the road, a shopkeeper stood in front of her shop pointing and chatting with some customers. When the bar finally opened they were not ready to deal with the crush for orders, the bar staff were plainly exhausted - I assume from the crunch time pre opening - and poorly organised. My friends and I stayed about 2 hours and when we left the queue for drinks had barely shrunk. There wasn't much seating, that and the queue made watching the 16 man single elimination tournament a bit of a chore. I watched the first game between Goswser, the only pro at the tournament I was told by the SC2 fan standing next to me, and another player whose name I should have noted because he won. It was a ZvZ and Goswser went for a nydus / swarm host all in. His Opponent managed a zergling runby at a critical time destroying the Nydus, ending the threat and winning the game soon after with a superior economy. The second to last pic is actually a great one of Goswser playing though he's not the feature of the photo. I'm pretty sure the ghostly profile in the 5th pic is the winner. I would have stayed longer and watched/suffered more had it not been for the fact that everyone I went with was a LoL player and didn't really get SC2. I was really looking forward to watching the WCS Asia finals which were rumoured to be coming on at some point. I'll go back again the next time I'm in London and I really hope it's a success but if the opening is any indication the future is not the brightest for Meltdown London. | ||
