I can't say that I have anything exciting worth blogging about, or if anything has been worth blogging about. I just watched My Little Pony Friendship is Magic-Magical Mystery Cure. I know it's aimed towards young females, but this series is so drastically different from them. I'm pretty sure I have some bronies who can relate. Who's with me! Anyhow, the episode Magical Mystery Cure is one of the most popular episodes garnering a large audience from a vast demographic and yes- that means grown men. The pure genius of the episode is the amount of songs in it, 7, which is the highest so far among the amount of songs any other episode has and has garnered over 3 million views on Youtube. It is also the eventful finale of the 3rd season and is essentially a musical.....all in 22 minutes.
It's just pure genius and the songs are pretty well written. Not your typical 1980's My Little Pony show. The witty dialogue, the great voice acting, the great characters and the overall morales it teaches to people? It all makes for a My Little Pony that has already garnered an unexpected audience of older males who call themselves bronies.
I've learned Hasbro did in intervene altering the plot just to sell more toys! I can't say this is full creative freedom. Kind of devastated....but then again I've only watched about 5 episodes of this show and there's no story arc for the majority of the show's seasons I think.
There also comes to my attention people who will call My Little Pony Friendship is Magic loving men "sissies, wimps, and just...immature, creepy"? I guess those are just the people who want to preserve their masculinity. Kind of like how a man feels pain losing to a girl in StarCraft. Not sure if the two are comparable.
Moving onto the StarCraft part of the world, I'm pretty sure I can reach C- on iCCup, for sure! I just gotta play Zerg, go a few 4 Pools, and go up the ranks. I know some who find a kind of awful feeling from being flooded by a Zergling all in. I can relate just a bit. Still gotta get down that Muta vs. Muta micro down, the good stuff. Maybe some great simcity skills, but alas! I'm far far away from going to the top. I need that skill, that confidence that's like a bundle of sticks. When you face a player that has confidence, you can practically sense the menacing skill, that confidence and the overall horrible, impending, humiliating, inevitable defeat you may or may not suffer. When you've won with cheese though, it's like you just stolen the Mona Lisa and you've gotten away with it scot free.
It's been a rather even steven sort of day, kind of on the flip flop side, maybe slightly exciting? I best remind you to go watch EG. Jaedong's stream that airs on Tuesdays and some other day I forget. It's the Tyrant, it's the bane of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg! It's Jaeeeeeeedoooooooooooonnnnnng. Thanks for reading

I didn't expect it to be so good, the songs and everything T_T
Are there any other good episodes?

Ah, Magical Mystery Cure, the episode that made a reality the fears of all the fandom! I'm not really connected with the MLP community these days, but I do plan on watching new episodes when they come out. The last season seemed...a little cheesier than usual to me, though that's not something I have a right to put against this show, obviously. If you haven't already, watch other episodes! The whole thing's pretty cool. Good luck on C-, haha, just shows how incredibly hard iccup is I guess.

Maybe ask around on the r/mylittlepony subreddit, They're of course as friendly as can be and I'm sure would be happy to help you.

I dislike how many songs they put into season premiere/finales, it's just too much. Also the reason MMC is the most watched episode is because + Show Spoiler +Twilight turns into an alicorn (most likely spelled that wrong) .

The songs from the show are very well done but lately they've been more silly (Raise this barn, raise this barn, 1, 2, 3, 4?!) or just more kiddie which, once again, I can't blame them for.
And yes, controversy just attracts more attention it seems with the latest episode.

Things like this make me want to see an MLP show explicitly directed at bronies someday.
Either that or a T/M-rated Pokemon game.

Either that or a T/M-rated Pokemon game. Season 3 had a lot of little shoutouts to the fandom, I remember we went pretty crazy over those! The community's general attitude has always been to let the writers do whatever they've been doing since 1 (write primarily for kids) and not force them to ruin the show with an overload of brony pleasers.
