I received a text yesterday morning of a tattoo of an empty heart, and that text was accompanied with another text that stated that love is empty. A week or two after I broke off contact with my ex girlfriend she started texting me again, really simple stuff, just wishing me good night and all.
Naturally I asked her why, and she responded that, "Love is just a bunch of empty promises!"
I replied her reminding her that she dumped me twice to find her be 'happy' and find love, therefore I am no longer responsible for her happiness. She replies with a slew of emoticons. She goes on to tell me that she's getting an arranged marriage. Her parents are marrying her off to a russian muslim dude that she's never met before. I can't lie that I felt a tiny bit of resentment as that probably meant that I'd never meet her again in real life, not that I'd want to, I avoid the shopping mall that she works at, fuck I avoid the train stop located at the shopping mall she works at so that there's no chance that we can meet.
I told her that we live in Singapore, not fucking Iraq or Afghanistan, so if she wanted to she could run away, but she started going on and on about how she has no choice. I guess this was one big thing we could never agree about, personally I believe that there's no such thing as not having a choice; there's always a choice, you just need to be willing to pay the price for making your choices. Her exact words: I can't support myself alone, he can support. Fucking pathetic, this coming from a wannabe feminist girl who goes around complaining about patriarchy and about how women are just as capable as men.
The conversation seemed more and more like her trying to get some sort of pity from me, so I just asked her straight up, "Why are you talking to me, do you want me to be your friend and listen to your problems?"
She replies with a firm, "No."
"What do you want from me then?"
"Nothing"
I deleted her number and told her to fuck off. It felt instantly refreshing. And as the day went on I started feeling less and less sad that she was getting an arranged marriage. I almost felt happy. I guess there is justice in this world. This girl cheated in every past relationship, save for mine, dated married men for money and dares complain that love's harsh. She resents everyone in her family and blame them for everything bad that happens to her. This is the only kind of love she deserves.

She just wants you back dude. She isn't a psycho, she's just in circumstances, and she wants what she had; she realizes what she has lost now that she can never get it back. Before, she could have you if she just said, "Hey baby, I made a mistake, I love you...etc...etc...," and along with profuse apologizing and some pity from you, I'd bet you'd have taken her back within the year. Now she can never have that again. Unless of course she is lying about the whole shabang trying to get some pity out of you to see if you still love her lol, in that case, yes she is a psycho girl.

I do feel like she just wants you back but this time it is different from previous breakups, that's why she replied you a "nothing" answer. She wants you but she thinks it's unlikely for you two to be together.
it could be something like this:
her "hi" messages are basically trying to find a time to tell you everything.
naturally your "run away" idea sounds too childish and unrealistic
she tells you that she can't run away but not she doesn't want to run away is exactly what she thinks. She wants to but she is afraid of what's gonna happen next.
her reply "nothing" is because she wants you to do something but doesn't want to hint/push you to do it. That's how girls work, no joke. They WANT/HOPE the guy to just do it without having to ask or suggest because they think that is what the guy SHOULD do. I remember once me and my gf had a huge argument and I asked her if I can come to her house and talk it through, she said "You SHOULD do it now, or earlier and shouldn't even ask me"
who knows, she might have pressure from arrange marriage all the way since you two started dating, leading to her breakup choices. My ex liked me but her family wanted her to find someone and marry soon, we only dated because she is hoping her family can wait till I get a stable job etc. eventually she has to give up since family pressure was too strong, it was either me or her and I really don't think I can get a good salary and have a marriage anytime soon.
