For the past two years, I had been paying out of pocket to go the various MLGs and other esports events. I didn't mind, because it was fun, and in many ways an expenditure similar to a weekend getaway. It was also a great place for photography, as there were tons of interesting people and compelling moments to capture on digital film.
Luckily, this past MLG, I was in Dallas photographing on behalf of MLG. It was a huge amount of fun, and I'm appreciate MLG a lot for the gig. (My ordinarily-empty-of-hotel-and-airfare-costs wallet thanks them too!)
MLG had three photographers at Dallas, and we each got some great shots. But I wanted to go back and pick out some of my favorite shots that I took. I made a blog post in the past for every MLG I went to, and felt weird for this one to be any different.

I used a Nikon D800. I mostly used the 70-200 2.8 lens, but also used a 50 1.4 sometimes.
