So. I'm in high school, eighteen years old and there is this really attractive little girl into me. She is all happy around me and generally tries to make contact. Nobody waits around for hours altough they are free to go because the other person has something to do. Anyway, the problem is that she is 2/3 years younger than me. Her hormones are going crazy and I would feel like a total douche to take advantage of this. I have a little sister and I don't think I would be very happy if she was dating someone that's 18 when she is 15/16. How do I tell her nicely that it wouldn't be the most wisest of decisions for her to date me? The advice of my friends is to just "do" her because in 1 or 2 years she'll be the most beautiful woman I could ever get :')
What is up with all these 15/16 year old girls who seem to just stare at me in the hallways. I'm not attractive damnit and I'm usually incredible grumpy because I have to force myself through all these little motherfuckers in the narrowest of hallways to go to some pointless class with an incompetent teacher. Months ago I just gave up asking my Biology teacher questions because he just can´t explain antyhing. The greatest thing was when he started making up excuses; "Well it's been 30 years..." I can't wait to study! I did have a friend where it was kind of the opposite situation. He really liked this girl who was a freshmen when he was a senior. He never asked her out cause he though he would seem like a pedaphile having a girlfriend who was 4 years younger than him.

I know. And it's going to feel wrong when the same thing happens to your sister, but you just have to accept it. It will always feel wrong at first but it really does go away pretty quickly. The age thing really means nothing at your age too. It's kind of funny how people think they're so much more mature than those 2 years younger than them at 18. Or even 1 year. I'm 18 and the year above me before they left my school were known for going out with 15 year old girls, don't worry about it, you're at school and as long as she's ok with it go for it.

I had a friend in highschool who dated a girl 2 years younger than him (he was a junior, she was a freshman at first). I don't know if they're still together now, but they had the most perfect loving relationship as far as I could tell.

If a girl is older? No problem (I hooked up with a girl who was 25 when I was 18 once :D). A year younger? Not a problem (done that a few times). More than that? Something clicks in my brain and basically makes me feel like I'd be taking advantage of them.

I think in the end I ended up regretting it. She was emotionally mature enough to handle it, and hell she started having boyfriends who were total douches so it's not like I would have 'scarred' her, me being a nice guy. But I actually have never been with a girl who is younger than me and my gf is a year older.
I think girls that are a few years younger feel like 'easy mode' because anything you do impresses them and you are just more advanced than boys their age in general. But I'm not sure that is a reason to really stay away from them. You will always be able to 'punch above your weight' if you go down in age. As long as they aren't completely ignorant and idiotic and impossible to be around then you should be okay

If she's in 4th or should be in 4th I don't think there's a problem. 6th and 3rd is a little.. I don't know. There isn't really a problem with it but it's like you say It might kinda feel like you're taking advantage of her. I would feel the same way. If she really wants to go for it then I guess it's just a decision you're going to have to make for yourself.

For the latter, how about getting to know her a bit first, you know, how old she actually is and that kind of stuff lol. Dont think anybody cares what you do with a 16yo after 6 month relationship or w/e, if you two make it that far.

That's what I'm planning on doing. At first I wasn't planning on doing anything, other than telling her nicely that it's not going to work. But everyone here encouraged me to ''put the penor in'' so to say. So I'm just going to get to know her better for the time being.

Well getting to know her cant be bad. If shes really 'too young' (emotionally) you'll notice anyway, this is where "taking advantage" might become problematic on your part because she probably wont notice. If she isn't people should be ok I guess, most important should be your and her parents (does she have an older brother? :D)
Also, while TL is a nice place you should talk to some older people you're close to, older siblings or something like that. I guess most of your friend aren't very mature themself, at least didn't sound like that so far.

Don't listen to dumb TL memes that are borderline rape advocacy. Personally I think getting involved with such a young person is an accident waiting to happen, because she is (or both of you are) likely so inoculated by popular culture with destructive notions on how a relationship should look like that eventually things get ruined by control issues, jealousy, gender expectations and various other bad things. Protect yourself and her by always making explicit what you want from a relationship, at least until you have a better handle on things.
