I had to fortune (or misfortune) of working with Paragon while working on the Lockheed Orion project of which Paragon is a sub-contractor (mostly because of the government requirement that X% of funding must go to women-owned-businesses). Let’s just say they are a pair of folks I am glad I didn't have to deal with too long and amused at the distinct possibility they will be leaving this planet soon...and probably not surviving re-entry if the quality of their work hasn't improved. (Ok, that was mean)
So I'll just end with a story. While visiting their offices I was forced to take a guided tour of the Biosphere 2 site where they told the "behind the scenes" story of what really happened. Basically Jane spun the failure into a few bestselling books about the psychological effects of isolation in small groups. The team consistent of 8 folks who had years of friendship and history working together in preparation to be locked up in the small environment of Biosphere 2. What happened was that the 8 immediately split up into two 4 member factions... that to this day - still haven't talked to one another. One faction was led by Jane and the other by the research faction of the team. A dislike that apparently got Jane's finger cut off "in an accident" in an attenpt to force her to leave the biosphere before the mission duration was over. So when I saw the fact Taber and Jane would *winkwink-nudgenude* be the leading candidates for the mission, I thought to myself... wow. Jane is totally going to eat Taber if they run out of food or the radiation turns them into zombies.
