The first meeting where I met people who wanted to talk about games and just play games was perhaps what made me feel the most thrilled and engaging in wanting to improve community's following games more so than playing the game itself. Reddit as well makes me a bit bitter because its unfiltered bluntness. The community is great and it feels much smaller than it really is. It changed me in that it accepted most of the things I do and at how fast I do (or how much in terms of posting) whereas in the past; I would get a lot of problems with it. I've had to change a lot about myself and I've also learned to filter a lot of what I say rahter than being cynically blunt or heavily sarcastic. It still creeps out sometimes, but I love how simple and easily navigeable these forums are!
