Your behaviour is to me just as juvenile as any other teenager's. So you like books? You think yourself as nerdy? Even if you act nerdy or do nerdy stuff, you don't have to be a nerd. I think the stigma entertains you. Most teenagers probably try to fit themselves into a certain social group because they don't know how they should act and present themselves. As a teenager you don't know yourself and that's fine. In fact some shallow people never get past that. I'm quite certain that in a few years you will probably still like books but also see your present actions and in your case your impressions in a comical way. Stop trying to be more maturely as your peers. I'm not a doctor and I don't know you but the idea that you might think yourself as a protagonist in one of your books where this romantic, compassionate guy gets the girl in the end entertains me. While I think that it's a good to be good (many will disagree) you must realize that your acting, that girls at that age don't know what they want and you must stop to be so pathetic in your approach. If you really want to be mature you should embrace your teenageness and do the stuff which can only be excused because you are young. Go and have these shallow relationships but don't get your heart broken. You must realize that girls may seem to be more mature than guys but when it comes to relationships they are more messed up than boys. | ||
