So I met this girl at a hagwon, which is like a learning academy in Korea. We talked a few times about college and told her that I could help her with college stuff because I'm two years older than her and already went through the experience.
On the last day of class, she really unexpectedly asked for my number, so I gave it to her. I texted her a few days later, sort of asking whether she had any free time, and she said probably not. So I kind of gave up hope on this girl, thinking that she only wanted my number for college info, but then I met her again yesterday.
She said hi to me, and then for some weird reason, stuck out her hand for me to shake, giggling, and so I shook her hand but she didn't squeeze back or anything. And we, and a few other people decided to go study together. At one point, I saw her staring at me smiling, so I looked back at her and she quickly looked away.
So that night, I sent her a message on kakao, asking if she wanted to study again with the people again, but she still hasn't seen the message or hasn't responded yet. If she did, I might have asked her out to get something to eat or something.
I know all these signs sort of show that she is interested in me, but she is really friendly with other people, and has a tendency to act weirdly, like sticking out her hand for me to shake. What makes this even more confusing is that in Korea, there are two types of girls. The first type is the really conservative type, while the other is outgoing and and very forward. I have no clue what type this girl is. If she was conservative, how could she ask for my number so boldly? If she was forward, why hasn't she asked me out yet?
Anyone is welcome to answer, but I'd sort of prefer girls, particularly Korean girls to answer.

Well, my personal realization is that don't take anything or any signs a girl shows as a means of affection or whatever you like to call it. Just simply be yourself, if she likes you then ultimately she will let you know. If she doesn't like you, then too bad and it wouldn't matter to you because you were never led on in the first place.

Just act like a normal human being and not a weird, stalkerish nerd loser who over-analyses everything.
Say to her straight up, I want to take you out for a coffee. If she says yes, go down to the supermarket and get the condoms ready. If she says no, move on. Problem solved without any of the bullshit psychoanalysis.

How could she ask for your number so boldly? Why don't you ask her and find out? Is it possible that someone doesn't fit into your dichotomy?
If you are interested in X then explore X until you're no longer interested. I think you're wasting your time worrying where her interest lies. You'll get the real answer very quickly when you start acting on your interests.
Do you want to ask her out to eat? Yes? Then ask her out to eat. If you need permission to do what you want to do then I give you permission.

Don't overthink things. Men (in general) tend to be worse at reading body language than women. You can learn how to do this better if you try (and are willing to be wrong), but there's a pretty effective way to know if she's interested: Ask her out. No need to wait for her to show you more "signs." We can't confidently tell you what kind of girl she is because we don't know her and we haven't seen her body language around you.
For that matter, asking Korean girls to answer is a little disingenuous. Odds are they don't know her either; not all women are/think the same.

...or: Interpret anything that she does or says as a sign that she's into you. Ask her out with that mindset and maintain that frame through any kind of interaction. Ez.

seems like you are overthinking it. either she likes you or she is just flirting. either way just be confident and yourself, and let things happen naturally.

I only really started to enjoy my life when I stopped fucking analyzing every little social detail and just CHILLED OUT.
Go with the flow, man. Go with the flow. Leave the hardcore analysis and shit to your hobbies. Not to your social life.

Also asking girls about girls is the most futile thing you can do, they have zero experience in seducing women.
