Current streak is at 7, next season will be MarineKing's 8th straight GSL Code S. After losing to Mvp in the finals in GSL 2011 January, MarineKing fell to Code A or Up&Down matches for 8 of the next 9 seasons, failing to win back to Code S once (breaking his streak). But he has made Ro8 the last 2 seasons running.

MC is the most inconsistent of the players reviewed here. He's won 2 GSL seasons, yet fallen to Code A twice and once even all the way to Code B. If he wins back to Code S, next season will be #1 on his next GSL Code S streak, so it will be a very long time before his name is mentioned in the context of a Nestea award. It is hard not to wonder if we are ever going to see a Protoss player win the Nestea award. Maybe that race is more volatile?
