Rekrul was a mod, and he banned people just for the thrill; because he was on a power trip. He finally lost his mod powers after a few years of his abuse.

They do it under the guise of keeping a "productive forum". Yet I participate in many forums that don't have nearly the level of moderation, they are all successful and have good discussion.

I thought SC gamers were "mature" and "smart". The mods here don't seem to think so.

It's funny, the average user here is like 18-25 according to google statistics, yet we are treated like children.

News flash: TL isn't what it is because of the moderation. It is so successful because there wasn't much good competition at the time it was created(gosugamers and some crappy strat sites). TL had news, progamers, a cleaner layout, streams, etc.

Why do people become mods? Think about that for a minute..
