Every single fucking one.

Seriously.

Haven't watched or played starcraft in ages, so I decide to watch a bit today as i have time off.

Today I go onto ForGG's stream (Terran Perspective), and he loses. Pretty impressive to beat the GG man himself, but for the average folk on stream chat, a difference in skill can clearly not be the explanation. Roars of 'Zerg OP' and 'Infestor is Bullshit' come into play, and it is all balance whining and bitching.

One funny point that was made was the fact that some said the ghost was a pathetic unit, and when someone tried to suggest ghosts people would call them 'bronze noobs' and swear at them

This links well into my second stream that I visited; Liquid Hero's (Protoss Perspective). He loses. Pretty impressive to beat the multitasking god that is Hero, but for the average folk on stream chat, a difference in skill can clearly not be the explanation. After he got EMP'd to oblivion, all I saw was 'Ghost too strong' and 'Ghost has to be nerfed', one guy even suggested 'damage has to be reduced by -5' ..like wtf?

Of course I play zerg and I have been watching Z streams for 2 years, so I am fully aware of the Zerg Perspective. But due to balance changes maybe zerg don;'t call Terrans OP bitches and Protosses 'A moving dicks' anymore. I guess I will have to hop on one Z stream before the end of tonight and see if it is the same deal as it used to be...which I assume it will be

In summary, today I have learnt that, relative to what race you play, all races are OP and 'dick A move' races that require no skill to play and have to be nerfed......quite an interesting day

You may want to steer clear of twitch chats for your own good. Reading that stuff can't be good for someone's mental sanity.

Don't read twitch chats.

Not too difficult of a problem to solve. Might want to avoid LRs too, depending.

You have much, much better things to do with your life than get upset about the terrible things that go on in those chats. And the stuff you've mentioned is nothing new... just don't give a damn about this kind of stuff and you will be happier for it.

SO fucking true. I went on snipealot2's stream, and it was just a bunch of the most chillaxed people ever enjoying their game. No talk of imbalance at all, just appreciating both sides equally.

But I guess the fact that BW is balanced and SC2 is not quite so plays a factor....still very refreshing to see

Whoa, oh COOL! Thanks for the share yo, definitely going to try it out along the way as I fight the ongoing war against laziness/procrastination at the same time hehe ^^

I love those chats, I feel like there are always a bunch of 10 year old kids, and they make the funniest comments. I think I'm one of the few people who enjoy those twitch chats; especially when its a major event and Idra is playing, the chat goes berserk and starts lagging like crazy - like 500 comments a second when Idra leaves without a GG or something. And then people make hilarious comments about conspiracy theories and debates about God, Jesus being a black man...SO MUCH FUN! :D

"Balance whine" doesn't annoy me, I don't see it as whine. People are just angry and want to blame something, and usually its really entertaining to watch like two dozen people type variations of "PROTOSS A-MOVE HERP DERP" when protoss wins. Its adorable, its like they're babies XD. I don't know how you can't love them

People in BW too, but not about A-move. Like how jangbi was being dissed for the way in which he won the last OSL by some people.

While BW people don't whine about A-move balls for every they whine about 1a2a3a for toss and maybe flash's turtling into 3-3 terran ball. You can always refer to IdrA for more whining too.

And keep in mind that you have all the WC3 players moving over too haha that chat sounds just like WC3Replays.net

Just enjoy the drama like the poster above me said -- it's a great approach to life :D
Please send me a PM of any song you like that I most probably never heard of! I am looking for people to chat about writing and producing music | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noD-bsOcxuU |

I basically follow this rule I avoid LR's like the plague (I see a lot of banning in there) and I participate in twitch chat only when its funny. When the shit talking starts I just GTFO.
User was warned for too many mimes.

most streamers know that they will actually make fans if they talk (ok.. joke) about their balance perspective in the stream chat.
Plus: NEVER EVER read twitch chat. just DONT do it. ever. period.
it is the same with youtube comments. DONT EVER DO IT.
