EPTGroup A:
Evil Geniuses: EG has been a fan favorite team for a while now and currently rest 1-0 in their group after a win over Liquid
Roster break down:
iNcontroL: An interesting player but probably won't see much time unless there is a specific situation (but i still love him)
Machine:Much like Incontrol, i dont expect to see much of machine but if we do, hope to see him come out strong!
IdrA: IdrA's participation in team league will be key to their victory. His strong mechanics and experience should make him a staple of the eg line up.
DeMusliM: Very strong terran. I expect to see alot of DeMuslim in IPTL especially if Thorzain is unavailable.
PuMa: Maybe the best terran on EG and expect to see him alot, especially when they need to snipe a terran
JYP: JYP is going to be KEY to EG's success here as he is a valuable zerg sniper. His pvt weakness can still be exploited (although hes gotten much better) but still should be in their lineup almost every match.
ThorZaIN: Not much to say. Amazing terran and i expect to see him
HuK: HuK has flashes of brilliance but has been overshadowed by his current lack of impressiveness in his play. Dont think we will see much of huk.
Suppy: Suppy is a good zerg but new to EG. Not sure if he will be played alot, or if he will be overshadowed by IdrA and stephano
Stephano: The newly cursed stephano will never play in team league. He is horrible. Definatly not their ace, and i don't expect every other team to have a prepared sniper for him if they hope to be sucessfull.
Prognosis: Strong/fair. EG is looking good going into this season. I expect them to make it out of their group in flying colors.
Team Liquid Group A
Team liquid IS the most popular sc2 team by alot. They (taeja) dominated the lower bracket last season and took a close second to IM. However, this season the lack a depth to their line up seems to have caught up as they are 0-2 with losses to EG and MVP
TaeJa: Taeja is on fire right now. This guy just keeps winning....all the time. Taeja is by far liquids ace and WILL be in every match for them. Its just a matter of how many wins the rest of the team can get before taeja finishes the job.
Zenio: Strong zerg player ususally good for a win or 2. Should be in most matches but not going to be all killing any time soon.
HerO: Oh hero, You looked so strong. Recently HerO has looked very weak in team leagues and has been living up to his incredible skill. Although herO is a top korean Protoss, he needs to step up his game in the team league.
TLO- TLO is a crazy player that can be used as a sniper to players who dont know him. He has been training in Korea and hopfully can look strong.
Ret: Although a strong zerg, he has looked very unimpressive in team league.
Sheth: Probably the second most consistant player on TL (tied with zenio for second) he will be a staple for them and is good for a win or two.
NonY: Don't expect to see nonY much
Prognosis: poor. Liquid looks to fall out of their 2nd place throne from last season and will have to go back to the drawing board to come up with a way to irk out a few more wins before they send in Taeja.
