Just came into alittle money and would like to buy a big ticket item but I'm just out of ideas. The last time I spent more than 300$ was on my computer which I bought about 2 years ago.

I'm looking for something cool, be it electronic, clothing, or even a great piece of furniture or watch.

honestly 1000 dollars is not going to get you a big ticket item you could maybe get a decent watch, mouse keyboard, speakers maybe, you could have me as a friend for a day.

What is your financial situation besides the 1000 you got? I find that more interesting than how you could spend 1000. If you are very financially secure and, due to the nature of how you acquired this grand, decided to spend it all on something immediately, that's cool. However, if you are not financially secure, then I wouldn't understand wanting to blow the money for the sake of it...

Any sports you are into? 1k can get you an equipment overhaul.

Why are you so eager to be broke? Wait till there is something you want and be glad you have the money for it, or trickle it slowly on eating better food or being able to go out more often over the course of the next few months.

If you don't need anything immediately and your bank account isn't padded (i.e. you don't already have at least $1000) you should definitely save the money. When you really want something that big later on you'll thank yourself for the foresight.
