We want to try something that's never been done before: We are holding an unofficial Q & A for MVP_DongRaeGu
This event is unique because it's really the first time an international fan club has reached out to a Korean player directly via the power of the internet.
We are taking advantage of the fact that communications these days are much easier (via twitter), eSports is relatively small, player exposure is still needed, eSF has very little restriction on fan interactions with players, and publicity is necessary for the continual growth of a player's renown. That being said:
Disclaimer: There is no guarantee this project will pull, it really depends on whether or not the player (DRG) has time to answer our questions. But we are going to try anyway.
Why have this Q & A?
There are many questions fans want to know about their favorite players. Frankly a lot of the official interviews suck and they all tend to ask very similar and forgettable questions:
ie. "Are you confident in this matchup?" "What is your goal this season"
Those kinds of questions do not tell the fans anything about the player or about the person. So we're staging our own hipster interview, with better questions and more fan interactions!!
So this is how it's going to go down: 1. You need to sign up for MVP_DongRaeGu's fan club. (That's right, if you're not in the fan club, we're not taking your question! so sign up! )
2. You can post an awesome question for him here in this blog.
3. Our fan club team will pick about 10-15 questions (best questions)
4. SeeKeR will translate them to Korean, and we send them to DRG
5. Hopefully we'll get some replies back when DRG has time to answer (he may refuse to answer certain questions if they're too personal).
6. SeeKeR will retranslate DRG's writings back to English so we can read.
Deadline Last day to submit a question is Wednesday September 19th, 2012. So you guys have a week to think of something creative.

Mine sort of goes of what yours talks about but slightly different - DRG, what is like growing up in Korea? Growing up, what did you do for fun and when did you first get into gaming or starcraft? (This is something I've always been interested in to hear from players, because Seoul is the place to go for eSports so I've always wondered how the life of a teenager in Seoul who is a gamer compares to the life of a teenager in the US who is a gamer.) When you are taking a break from practice or after a GSL, how do you like to relax? Do you play other games, do you play sports, etc?

In an interview before the Blizzard Cup finals, your coach stated that you chose MVP over SlayerS because they would provide tutors in case you didn't become a successful pro-gamer. What did you want to study at a university? Are you impressed by Polt's ability to juggle pro-gaming and school?

Polt's has put school on hold since last year. In his interview last night, Polt said he plans to delay school for another year in favor of practicing starcraft.
Also DRG said he was doing kinda mediocre(terrible) in college before he joined MVP (interview MLG anaheim 2011), But it's a good question about his major...I have no idea what he was studying...
For some reason I have a distinct memory of reading that DRG was studying some kind of engineering (and if not that, definitely a hard science), but .... I can't find the interview, nor remember where it came from. Maybe I just made it up. ;;
I, too, want to know what happened between Genius and DRG. From what we know:
1.Genius didn't get along with the coach (genius leaving MVP announcement) 2. Genius was kinda mean to team members (Code A interview MVP noblesse) 3. Team members highly favored DRG over Genius because DRG bribes them with food lol ( Off the Record show with Genius)

Q: DRG, recently we've seen you play, for the most part, without infestors. Do you feel uncomfortable using them or is there another reason you refrain from them?

1. 박수호 선수, 당신은 현제 국제적으로 굉장히 유명하신 선수입니다. 한국에서도 그렇게 유명하세요? 국제적인 팬들이 많은만큼, 한국 팬들도 많나요?
A) 한국에서도 경기떄마다 경기장 찾아오시는 몇몇 팬분들이 계시긴하지만 아무래도 숫자나 적극적인 면에서는 해외쪽이 압도적인것같네용
2. 박수호 선수는 보통 날들을 어떻게 보내세요? 알고싶은 것들은, 몇시에 일어나시는지, 하루의 몇시간을 연습하시는지, 저녁은 팀원들이랑 같이 드시는지?
A) 평균적인 하루일과를 말씀드리면 1시쯤기상해서 2시까지 점심밥을먹고 정신을좀차린뒤 2시부터 5시까지 연습시간이구 5시부터는 저녁시간 및 그냥 자율시간입니다. 보통 저녁 10시정도까지 연습하다 팀원들과 저녁축구한게임을하고 그이후론 잠이많은 친구들은 먼저자기두하고 게임을하기도하고 저같은 경우는 인터넷서핑을하다 4시정도에 잠이듭니다
3. 형제들은 몇명이나 되세요? 당신처럼 스타2를 잘할수있을정도로 그들을 가르치시나요?
A) 위로 저보다 2살많은 형이있구여 호기심에 스타2를 해보긴햇지만 저처럼 잘해지고 싶은 욕구가 전혀 없는것같아 딱히 가르친적은 없습니당 ^^
4. 어렸을 때, 재미로 뭘 하셨나요? 스타는 언제부터 시작하셨나요?
A) 글쎄요 어렷을떈 방과후엔 그냥 친구들과 피시방가서 게임을 하거나 놀러댕기거나 그러면서 놀앗구여 스타는 제가 초등학교 2학년쯤? 그당시 컴퓨터 학원에 있던 저희형이 처음 가르쳐줘서 스타크래프트라는 게임을 접하게 되었습니다
5. 어려운 상황들이랑 힘든 상황들을 만났을때, 어떻게 견디셨나요?
A) 글쎼요 딱히 힘든상황이라고 느껴져도 한번 자고나면 그런걸 다 잊어먹는 성격이라 힘들거라 그러면 그냥 잠한번 자고나면 꺠끗히 잊혀집니당
6. 여자친구를 어떻게 만났나요?
A) ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.노코멘트할게용.. 여자친구도 워낙 민감해하는 질문이라 그냥 ... 떄가되면 각자 인연을 맞나는것같습니다
7. 숙소안에서는 누구랑 제일 친하세요? 서로 같이 재미있는것들 할때, 뭐를 하세요?
A) 딱히 누구랑 제일 친하건 ㅏ하진않구여 팀원들이 다 동생또래라 전부다 친하게 지내고잇어요.. 같이 재밌는것들이라.. 음 저녁에 축구한게임, 새벽에 야식사먹으러가는거, 무료할떄 노래방 그리고 당구장 가는거,, 아니면 가끔씩 옷을같이사러가기두하구여 그냥 이렇게 노네용 ㅋㅋ
8. 숙소안에 재미있는 이야기들이 있었으면 얘기해주실수 있어요?
A) 숙소생활이 마치 학교생활떄 수학여행온 기분이라 항상 재밋긴한데 딱히 재밋는 에피소드가 떠오르진않네용 ㅋㅋㅋ 그냥 서로 디스하고 그럴떄 웃기기도하고 옷장에 숨어서 놀래켜주기도한답니당
9. 당신 빼고서는 MVP안에서 누가 최고 선수라고 생각하세요?
A) 글쎄요 딱히 한명만뽑기가 뭐하네요.. 다 정말 실력잇는선수들이구여 저그는 탁현승선수 권태훈선수 토스는 김경덕선수 서성민선수 테란은 황규석선수 채도준선수가 특히 잘하는것같네요
10. 연습하시면서 쉬고싶을때, 뭐를 하세요? 다른 게임을 하세요? 아니면 스포츠나 운동?
A) 그냥 침대가서 딍굴거리면 시간을떄울떄도잇고 영화나 드라마 같은거 보기도하고 근처 만화방에서 만화책을 빌려보기도하고 여러가지하네용 ㅋㅋ

A) 장난감이라뇨! 대단한선수고 항상 경기할떄마다 긴장되기도하고 두근거리기도 합니당 정훈이와의 경기는 항상 재밋어서 저도 항상 붙길 기대하는 라이벌선수입니당
13. 팀리퀴드에 있는 당신의 팬클럽 대해서 어떻게 생각하세요? 맘에 드세요?
A) 정말정말 고맙게생각해요 항상 와서 팬분들의 어드바이스같은것들도 다 마음에 새겨놓고 잇구 가장 기분좋은게 경기없을떄 꾸준히 활동들을하셔서 제 팬클럽은 항상 위쪽에빨간색으로 잇어서 기분이 좋구여 이런 조그마한 프로젝트들부터 접떄 받은 팬분들 아이디가적힌 티셔츠까지 너무너무 감사하게생각해요 앞으로도 저를 버리지마시고 계속 응원해주세요 연습 열심히 하도록 할게용 !!
