arlock+chill+beggar combo was pretty good (especially beggar LOL)

I had doubts about arlock since I didn't know who he was and he was an sc2 player but he did a much better job than i expected. alot of the viewers were annoyed by the 2nd cast as well. we ( as viewers) don't care who invested what into this grudgematch. we just wanted to see it happen with decent casting. the drama was totally unnecessary.

I once again want to agree with the first statement and say that I really want to hear more Beggar casts hahahaa.

Puppy, you definitely pointed too many fingers this time, firstly though Chill may be (deservedly) abrasive at times, I didn't sense any particular animosity towards you from the get-go. I did notice that the main reason why things started falling off in the second part of the cast (after the actual GM) was because Arlock went into his SC2 spiel (dude, this is BW, get the fuck out with that shit) and although you recognized the issue you continued to egg him on which was funny at first but when you two were exchanging minute-long narratives of this or that it became much less entertaining. I was honestly just trying to watch the game and kept volume on in hopes that things would turn for the better. Game didn't make things much better but at least Game drops a few funny one-liners here and there, or at least tries to. The fact that he continued to talk so much without seeing the game in real time obviously should have been avoided.

Overall, I can't not say thank you to everyone who contributed or tried to contribute to this event. Issues need to arise for the community to learn from them and avoid them in the future; same goes to the parties involved. So, thank you everyone, I hope to see more such events in the future!

The games were bad and you should feel bad! Really though, pretty disappointed in the whole thing. iTuned in to see some good old BW play and Chill's game vs Telecom was way better than the RK games.

Once again Chill saves the day with no help from Puppy Killer. You're welcome TL.

I rewatched the part of the cast in which I entered out of curiosity. The initial question of "is this puppykiller" I heard twice, once when it was asked on skype and once when the stream delay rebroadcasted it (since I hadn't yet disconnected my headphones). I was oblivious to this so when I was mocked I thought the reasons were different, and after repeatedly being mocked and interrupted while speaking by my co-casters I decided to that they were likely to continue to act this way towards me for the duration that I casted with them. Rather than retreat, I decided to respond with harshness and dedicate my energy towards invalidating a very proud carlock who ignorantly thought that he possessed the right, the wit, and the authority to make a fool of me. If you watch the opening you can see how our relationship rapidly degenerates.

http://www.twitch.tv/vtarlock/b/333495047

While I still remain offended with the highjacked cast, I want to make it clear to the viewers that I did not come into the cast looking to pick a fight at the expense of the entertainment for those watching. I am not even close to that level of immaturity. I was annoyed with the highjacking of the cast but initially I was planning for the sake of the show to show no signs of this and instead to participate in an entertaining follow up to what I heard was a disappointing series.

I still disprove of warlock's supposition that he either deserved or was desired to participate in an event that had absolutely nothing to do with him. I am disappointed that the viewers didn't protest to have Kiante, Hackle, L_master, Noise, Game, aegyo, Ribbon (seriously), SNM in korean, nina with auto-tune or any other actual BW commentator to cast with reese, rather than an untested (in terms of casting skill) unknown (In bw he's unknown and when I followed sc2 I never heard of him) sc2 player who just happened to be the most recent to post a request to cast in the thread. I put a lot of effort into this event and it is frustrating to see it covered behind my back by an individual who knows jack shit about either the BW scene, or the players involved in the GM (he had a small window of time in which he got to know Telecom but there are few people here who haven't). I did fuck up with my scheduling and while the show had to go on, I was disappointed to see that no capable and qualified casters took the streaming initiative.

PuppyballLicker, if you look back in this thread, I said MORE THAN ONCE that anyone who wanted to cast should feel free to simply PM me and I would make it happen...

:/ I'm running dual widescreens and its just giving me issues, in game looks odd as well.

Unless someone wants to show me how to correctly configure this I'm clueless. I have it set for sc2

the gist of it is, launch broodwar in windowed mode. set it to 2x windowed mode. and just take a screen region by dragging it to the inside of the window. easy

holy shit, ezpz

edit: We're good to go

edit2:

IF YOU GUYS WANT TO CAST WITH ME

send me a PM,

Look at yourself, you were a douche the entire time you were behind the microphone and not once did I turn it back on you in front of the viewers AND I let you stay on stream.

You are the stereotypical self-entitled bw player. Nothing is good enough for you and your the best, hands down. You're never wrong and your dick is 10 feet long.

Get over yourself. It's a shame that the sport I've played my ENTIRE LIFE (yes bw too since I was 10) is full of people like you.

Regardless, PuppyanusTaster thanks for coming on the cast and spending NO ACTUAL TIME talking about the games what-so-ever. You used the cast to talk shit about telecom for an hour. Me, chill, and beggar didn't do that. We had fun with it. That's the thing about a D level grudge match...YOUR SUPPOSED TO HAVE FUN WITH IT.

imo the casting of the first three games was great. props to arlock, beggar and chill. most other people seemed to agree. if puppy was the guy talking about how rk was like hitler because hitler failed to kill all the jews, yeah, that guy was pretty annoying and should have gtfo.

Arlock preemptively dodged the BW grudgematch (nothing against him, he just doesn't play the game at the level required due to SC2) from what I recall, and Chill doesn't really play but I think that is the only viable option left even though it is the least substantiated one as far as I have seen.

I don't think a GM would prove anything. Also in my semi inactive form I am doubtlessly superior to an inactive arlock and chill.

I always feel guilt whenever a project that I had a hand in fails. This makes me almost receptive to the idea of getting my hands even dirtier organizing something else to redeem this event. But I have decided that it is more intelligent just to let this die, and pay no mind to that which I owe no mind.

Well, there is this match we discussed... And there is also the fact that more events is always better than no events... Not saying that the two have to be inseparable, just sayin' ^^

EDIT: I think you discredit Chill too much, if given a few weeks I'm sure he'd give you a decent match xP

I feel the same way. I just wanted to make sure you didn't lose your conviction for both this match and for others, whether you participate as a caster or player. Like I said, more events is better than no events; even if this event was a bit anti-climatic in many ways, I feel that it's something to gain from not to give up because of (sorry, poor English).

TL;DR: Don't stop contributing to foreign BW! BTW Great games last night ^^ I had a great time.

I'm pretty sure it didn't fail... if you read the last few pages the only thing people were upset about was your demeanor.

Yes you would beat me in bw, yes I would beat you in sc2. However we both have no interest in playing the other persons game.

You keep saying that you will just let this die, etc etc. However you keep responding with degrading remarks that serve a self purpose of putting yourself higher on a pedestal. Do you just want the last word or something? If that's the case I'll gladly let you have it.
