I would honestly not do it. I speak to noone about my passion SC esports, and that is only because I dont want to be seen as a nerd, which I not even really am, if you count the Esports thing out. Atleast in Germany, where I come from and in my group of friends, nerds still are seen as boring, unhygienic and do nothing else then sit in front of a computer. I do none of that stuff, but i would be seen as a nerd for only the fact that I watch professional SC2. And frankly, that turns a lot of people off.
But in the end, it is just if you care what other people think about you or if you do not.

wear it dude, no reason not to, if he asks why, just say it was clean, so you wear it. Also alternatively just say you are a huge SC1 fan and no other reason than that.

WEAR IT for sure, if i had a Proleague team shirt i would wear it till it defiantly needed to be washed, and he doenst know what it is, fine no harm done. and if he does and loves starcraft well yay
