Hello TL! So I just got back from a weekend of camping, and while doing so we had plenty of liquor to drink. Now you can do the usual, drink around a fire, sharing stories, and having a good time. Or you can play our new, extreme, very dangerous drinking game. All that is required is 1. You have liquor to drink (it's best with hard liquor, the rules require shots) 2. You have the ability to doctor up cuts. Rubbing alcohol, band-aids, stitches, etc.
So before I get into this, Most people will say it's stupid and dangerous, but when you're young and stupid it's a good time.
So the name we gave it was BnS Jenga ( Brent n' steven Jenga ) They're the ones who made it up while on a nature walk half wasted.
The object of the game is simple. Break branches off a standing tree. The rules are
1. If you cannot break a branch, you drink.
2. If you fall, you drink.
3. If you draw blood, you drink.
4. The branch must be roughly 1 foot in lenght, so you can't get away with breaking off a bunch of tiny 3 inch branches.
pretty simple right?
The way the game works, and why it gets difficult and dangerous is because once you start to break the branches near the base of the tree, and they become out of reach. You must climb.. While drunk. If you're in a group of competitive people, you're going to have to climb pretty high if you're going to be the last one standing. For example, Our last game of the day before the sun went down, Brent and Steven got roughly 25-30 feet up the tree before we called it a tie, We didn't want them to die, just fall and cut themselves or something treatable =P
Now I know you're probably thinking that this is a dumb game, and someone will die. Yes.. I completely agree, but if we didn't have the creativity to create a game like this, we would have probably ended up just playing drink the beer until someone was in the hospital anyways =P.
This game is dangerous! If you do choose to play it please be responsible, Don't climb 50 ft into the air just to take 1 less shot than your friends, if you can't break anymore branches just find a new tree and start over! I don't want anyone dying over this, it's just ment to be a good time!!

I can't imagine anyone over 21 thinking this sounds fun at all so I'd hazard a guess it's illegal in the US.

This must be what it felt like for my older siblings when I told them about the drinking games my friends and I came up with to supplement the idea of getting drunk and having fun..........
Probably a generational thing, like this was/is Teens using tampons to get drunk

Well if you want to win easily, you'll find dead trees that are still standing, It's easier to break the branches off. So it isn't as damaging, We'd probably have just used it for firewood any ways.

Hey guys, I'm currently playing a drinking game with my friends next to the computer. I call it: The TL Blog Drinking Game.
The game works like this. You get a computer. You go onto the Blogs section of TL. You open the topmost blog, and you look at the average rating of the blog rounded to the nearest number. That's how many drinks you take. Then you move on to the next blog in the line. If you can finish all the blogs with a red folder icon, you win! If there is no rating on a blog, you can either not drink and move on or engage in a round of drunk discussion and assign a rating to the blog (1-5), and then take that many drinks.
After lengthy discussion, we had to take 1 drink for this blog.

Every time you catch yourself drinking and driving, you have to take a shot.
If you get pulled over, you have to take a shot.
If you get arrested, you have to take a shot.
If someone posts bail for you, you have to take a shot.
If you have a court date, you have to take a shot.
If you get sentenced to anything, you have to take a shot.
If can still drive after the court date, you have to take a shot.

Both games are terrible. The fact that one is considered taboo to you and one isn't is irrelevant (although I do appreciate a "never drink and drive" attitude!)

Drinking and driving is worse for the sole reason that it puts other people in danger as well as yourself--which is the reason for the taboo.
