For your opening build order, it seemed to be very polished. Your minerals and gas were low, you got your expansion at a good time (though not as fast as a 1 gate FE) and you hit your timing well. The first mistake that I noticed was at 7:37, your expansion finished. Your mistake was you didn't start building any workers until 8:10. Essentially, you lost 4 workers. You didn't have those four workers for the entire game. Just to give you the math, if a worker mines 44 minerals a minute, you lost the opportunity of making 4 workers, and the game lasted for about 8 more minutes. 44 (minerals a minute) * 4 (workers lost) * 8 (minutes) = 1,408 minerals lost. That is a lot when you think about it. You weren't microeing heavily at this point either, so you may want to try focusing on building those few extra workers as soon as your expansion finishes. The other thing I noticed was after your attack, you stockpiled a lot of money. I know how hard it is to macro while microeing, and I am sure you know it to, so I will leave it at that. However, when you are spending your stockpile of minerals and gas, you may want to try investing in 1 or 2 forges. For the entire game, you had no upgrades on your units. Your push would be so much more deadly if you have +1 armor or +1 +1 for both weapons and armor. If you get the forges at 12 minutes, your upgrades can easily be finished by 16 minutes. Finally--and this is unrelated to the game in general-- I have to ask why you want to all-in vs. terran. You stated that terrans always like to 1 rax FE. However, terrans do this because it gives them a stronger mid game. Terrans are strongest in the mid-game, hence why we 1 rax FE. By doing these all-ins, you are hoping to defeat the terran when he is at his strongest. Protoss is strongest in the late game. You may be having success with your build now, but eventually, you will meet people who can scout out your build and react accordingly. At that point, you will need to learn to transtion to the late game. Anyway, hope my advice helped. Srry I didn't look at the other replays, but I don't have to much experience as Protoss to give too much advice. Good luck on the ladder ! | ||
